Les 16 hectares du domaine sont situés sur des coteaux et éboulis argilo-calcaires sur calcaires durs, caillouteux et bien drainés.
Some plots were planted with grass between every other row to prevent soil erosion, increase ventilation and water permeability, and limit the vigour of the vines.
Scrub-land (garrigue) of thyme, rosemary and pine forests surrounding the plots contribute to specific wine aromas. The Mediterranean climate with an average rainfall of 900 to 1000 mm per year and a dry, hot summer gives the wines their character and their aromatic potential.
